How To Install BBM on Incompatible Android Devices
Few days ago, the almighty Instant Messenger (BBM) was released for other smartphones but surprisingly, but it is not yet compatible with other devices that operates on Android with the smartphones (Samsung phones and iPhones). Well, here is a work-around to having it installed on any android device that receives the message of incompatibility.
- Look for any already compatible and installed device,
- Goto file explorer,
- Goto /data/app,
- Look for a file with this name “com.bbm-1.apk"
- Transfer this file to any device that is unsupported, and Install…..Voila, you are pinging
OR
- Simply download the file to the device and install, Bingo, That’s all!!!
NOTE:- For existing BBM users, don’t panic, once you follow the instruction to enter your blackberry id, all your contacts will be synchronized automatically to the new device. Also, you can only use your blackberry id on a device at a time which indicates if you have a blackberry phone and wish to ping on another device with the same blackberry id, you will be logged out on your blackberry.
For new users, all you need is just to create a new blackberry id, that’s all.
Thanks.
